Awata-Matsuri 粟田祭
"Awata-Matsuri" 「粟田祭」

粟田祭りは１０００年以上の歴史を持つ祭礼で、特に有名な「剣鉾」の「剣差し」が行われます。剣鉾とは神輿が行く道を祓い清めて、悪霊を鎮めめる祭具。この剣鉾を立てることを「差す」と表現します。現在では、この「剣差」と呼ばれる差し手が減少して京都の祭礼でも、出会える機会がほとんどありません。

京都泉湧寺の七福神めぐり。
京都泉湧寺の七福神めぐり。山内の七福神を福笹に縁起物を取り付けながら巡る行事。今 年の１月１２日京都は午前中は小雪で、午後は晴れながら寒い一日。
